Retirement Annoucement
Dear colleagues and friends,
To everything there is a season, and it is time for me to retire. After 45 years in private practice and as a neutral at Stohler ADR PLLC, I am retiring and will no longer accept any cases that will not conclude by January 31, 2026. I have notified the tribunals and panels with whom I work. Of course, I will complete all current matters and will be available to follow up on issues that arise from recent Mediations. I will maintain records as agreed in the engagement letters and as required by the policies of the relevant Arbitration and Mediation tribunals and panels. I am willing to provide recommendations and suggestions on other neutrals and counsel as I always have done.
In reflecting on this decision, I feel incredibly blessed and grateful to have had such a fulfilling and satisfying career – both my long tenure at Carmody, and more recently, my terrific five year run as a neutral at Stohler ADR. Thank you to all who have supported me, assisted me when I needed it, and challenged me legally and personally to be the best I could be. I am especially appreciative of the counsel I received from so many of you to focus on what really matters.
So now what really matters is to focus on enjoying new adventures with my wife and family and to giving to the community. We will continue to live in Park City, Utah but will be in Connecticut, Massachusetts and the East often. Please keep in touch.
